We appreciate your use of our Services. These are our general terms and conditions, and they apply to your use of our Services, Websites, and Applications.

Silver Sydney Cabs Pty Ltd Trading as Silver Sydney Cabs ACN 123 456 789, ABN 12345 678 910, (“we”) operate Services, Websites and Applications allowing our passengers/users (“Customers”, “you”) to reserve a taxi via our websites or mobile applications.

EFTPOS/CASH/Online is accepted as payment for the reservation.

We ensure that your travel is secure, pleasant, simple, and trustworthy. We keep you in contact with the driver and provide you with the set fare in advance, which is listed on our website. Our application also provides information regarding how quickly your driver can reach you.

We are also concerned with the safety of our Customers, which is why we gather their information and the identity of the driver who will pick them up. Our website includes the terms of our privacy policy. Prior to reserving a taxi, you should review the terms of the privacy policy.

1. General

By making a reservation, you agree to Silver Sydney Cabs’ terms and conditions and have read our website’s privacy policy conditions. Please note that by submitting your information, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information in line with our privacy statement and terms and conditions.

SilverSydney Cabs has the right to modify the terms and conditions at any time without prior notice, and the revised terms and conditions will be posted periodically on our website.

2. Agreement

  • The Customer agrees to our company’s passenger and point-to-point transport terms and conditions.
  • As a passenger, the Customer is subject to Australian law.
  • Any customer or representative booking with Silver SydneyCabs agrees to the terms and conditions and privacy policy.

3. Payment

Customers must guarantee payment for bookings using EFTPOS, credit/debit card, cash, or our booking app.

You’ll be charged government-regulated metered rates and any tolls. You agree to pay 5% more for electronic payments in NSW.

This is applied to your cab price. If we connect your credit card via a third-party processor, this paragraph applies. In addition to these Terms and Conditions, the Payment Processor and your credit card issuer’s terms and conditions and privacy policies shall apply to the processing of payments or credits in conjunction with your use of the Service. Payment Processor issues aren’t our fault. We shall utilize transaction information obtained via your usage of the Services in line with its Privacy and Cookie Notice.

Customers may be asked to prepay the whole cost before their journey or to provide ID before or after exiting the taxi. By booking with Silver Sydney Cabs, the customer agrees.

4. Unlawful or Prohibited Use

  • Customers may only use our service legally. Customer promises to use service lawfully. SilverSydneyCabs’ operator and driver are not liable for any difficulties caused by a customer’s criminal behavior or purpose.
  • The customer shouldn’t be a hassle to the taxi driver and vice versa.
  • Silver Sydney Taxis will give safe and pleasant service to its customers.
  • The customer agrees to pay using their own card. If the Customer uses a card that doesn’t belong to them, they must have authorization to charge from it. Silver Sydney Cabs is not liable for any such behavior.
  • If questioned about an unlawful payment, www.silversydneycabs.com will share the customer’s data to law enforcement or regulatory organizations.
  • Silver Sydney Cabs may reveal card holder information if alerted of unlawful usage.
  • The customer agrees to keep their card and personal information secret.

5. Privacy

  • Silver Sydney Cabs may disclose the Customer’s personal information if required by law or if the information is needed to address or mitigate the Customer’s act or omission. Our website’s Privacy Policy allows additional usage.

6. Personal and Non Commercial Use

  • The Customer accepts that when a booking is made via our website or app, we require the Customer’s cellphone number and name so the driver may accept the booking and contact you about it.
  • Silver Sydney Cabs – taxi service doesn’t allow drivers to utilize customers’ names or phone numbers for anything other than picking them up. Immediately report any abuse to Silver Sydney Cabs.
  • The customer agrees that Silver Sydney Cabs – Sydney Airport may use their contact information for promotional, marketing, and publicity reasons without further reference, reimbursement, or payment, including sending promotional communications. Customers should read the relevant privacy policies.

7. Termination / Restriction

Unauthorized customer bookings are a violation of the terms and conditions. Silver Sydney Cabs – Taxi Company has the right to discontinue your access to the website, app, and associated services at any time, without warning, and to sue the Customer for any harm caused to the driver or vehicle by the Customer’s actions.

8. Terms

  • The Silver Sydney Cabs website and mobile app provide information on the projected fare based on the starting and terminating points. The prices are variable and do not include any additional costs associated with utilizing the highway, such as tolls.
  • When you made the reservation, you acknowledged that you would be responsible for the whole payment upon returning from your trip or arriving at the place that you had booked.
  • Your travel costs won’t include any more money on top of the fee unless the parties involved specifically agree to anything else in the terms of the agreement, so don’t worry about being overcharged.
  • You will get a message confirming that your booking has been approved along with the driver’s name and the number of the taxi’s registration plate when the booking is requested by you.
  • You may only use the fare estimate that is offered to you on that particular day, at that particular hour, and with that particular vehicle.
  • There will be an extra fee for traveling along any route that was not included in your original booking, as well as for any waiting time that was incurred during the course of your journey.
  • Any aspects of the journey are not included in the trip that you have booked, and the drivers may charge you extra sums for these diversions or waiting periods that emerge at your request.
  • We recommend discussing this extension or detour with the taxi drivers prior to boarding. The extra cost will represent a realistic approximation of the metered charge depending on the distance and duration of the trip.
  • Any cancellation by the driver shall be communicated within a fair amount of time. We will attempt to present you with a different taxi based on availability, and the taxi number will be supplied again if there are any changes.
  • Passenger cancellation fee: Any cancellation must be made immediately. Any delay may entail cancellation fees levied by Silver Sydney Cabs to passengers or the person making the booking whose information are supplied in the booking form.
  • When a driver accepts your booking request, you’ll get the driver’s name and registration number. You must enter the proper Taxi number. This guarantees we have a record of the vehicle that carried you and the DRIVER, ensuring you can pay the entire amount, and promotes the personal safety and security of passengers traveling and enabling us to contact with the driver if you left any personal goods in the vehicle after alighting.
  • We want our passengers to be courteous to our drivers, and you should expect the same from them. If you have any concerns about the driver, please let us know during your trip. We will examine the situation, note it in our system, and warn the concerned individual. We’ll also react to your complaint within a fair time.
  • If any of the clauses in the terms and conditions are found to be contrary to the law or unenforceable for any reason, then those clauses will be assumed to be withdrawn, but the rest of the terms and conditions will continue to be in effect.
  • Terms and conditions will be construed in line with the law that is in effect in the state of New South Wales. This law will control both the terms and conditions as well as how they will be interpreted. The parties have reached an agreement whereby they will voluntarily subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in the state of New South Wales, which will not be exclusive.
